Minimum use temperature is not the only consideration to make when selecting a listed antifreeze. Like with sprinkler heads, listing parameters differ among listed antifreeze brands. For example, freezemaster™ antifreeze is the only antifreeze UL listed for use with galvanized piping material. Unlike the competition, it is listed for use in systems up to 500 gallons in residential, Light Hazard and Ordinary Hazard I & II systems.
